Best Automotive Youtube Channels ?

Sometimes just like porn amateur is better than the stars.

So back story. I lost my job/career in November. Since then I’ve been doing what all unemployed should do which is look for a new job and go to interviews. However in the mean time there is a lot of Youtube and a lot of Forza. While also moving into a new home for no other reason but that my landlord “has some family issues and needs to move them in”. So while drunk aunt Judy whose probably being divorced for the 4th time with 3 boys who are all failures moves in I’m watching Youtube.

Now I’m a big Matt Farah fan I think we all are right ? I think his videos are good because he doesn’t seem to sugar coat it. The podcast ads addition insight to what these cars were like where he doesn’t give a single fuck and I like that. The thing is tho I was introduced to Matt Farah via Tuned on Drive in it’s glory days of free content and lots of it on a regular basis. I then got sucked into paying for content because that’s how good it was. Then felt like I just lost my money to one of those guys with the 3 cups and ball trick. They got me month after month until I said screw it and cancelled. I really hope Drive can yank the e-brake and turn it around because they have the talent to wow the world. The new movie coming out made by those guys at drive may very well be the E brake turn they needed I think it’s called Apex and It’s not out just yet.

So without a job and wanting plenty to watch I’ve found what I consider to be amateur Youtube. It’s wonderful and full of soul. The fact that the editing wasn’t done by some pro or that the entire video was shot in one take gives these videos a authenticity hard to find in any form. Sure we all like watching Chris Forsberg fly through an abandon mall in a full blown formula D car with a Nascar V8 or Ken Block doing donuts on a barge but here’s the facts. THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN TO YOU.. and deep down you know it. So that’s why watching the guys at Roadkill turbo a V6 S10 powered 280z “Rotsun” and autocross it is enjoyable to an un measurable amount. Roadkill is so good I’m “not allowed” to watch it alone unless I want to watch it again when the woman gets home and act surprised. That’s how good it is. It’s unfortunate that Roadkill even with a major sponsor ship like Dodge has to charge a month subscription like the Drive channel. Also offering premium content but just like porn if you want the good stuff you’ll pay a monthly subscription just like you do to Bangbros.

Seeing how I have no job and that subscription to anything but my Amazon Prime is over I resort to the free stuff and when it comes to free stuff amateur is great. I’ve included a few of my favorite channels and hopefully you’ll find a few of them enjoyable and maybe subscribe. However I want to know what your favorite flavor is.

We don’t have a ton of content because we are new, although we were able to capture the attention of Kyle at The Fab Forums and soon we’re going to head his way and do a video about him as well as other fabricators and automotive enthusiasts in his area. I’m pretty excited for that!

VERY VERY SOLID CONTENT ! Let me know if you want to come to Texas could probably get you all kinds of content from electric powered mustang to 6.0 LS swap Foxbodys and true grass roots drag racing including the crazy Houston street races 200mph + highway pulls.

Your videos are great tho and you just earned at least 1 subscriber. Keep it up.

Roadkill is only charging for early access. If you wait, the episodes are still released on the normal schedule.

The blokes at MightCarMods are always wonderful to watch. They have done some truly epic builds recently as well.

Cool, thanks! Yeah I’m all about traveling to get some content. So far everything has come from my local area (North West Florida) and most of the content is actually in the form of written articles with photos on my website featuredgarage.com . While we’re not going away from written articles, we are working on developing more supplemental video content. I’m glad you liked what we have so far! Getting some Houston street racing could make for some stellar content.

Your a handfull of hours away from the biggest drag racing in the country. Georgia does not fuck around at all.. Me and the boys have been a few times and it really is the world series of small tire drag racing with some big power and big personalities.

I recently discovered a glorious event called spectator drags and in turn a channel called “Carbon Video” who tapes them. Surprising variety of cars and even some drama.

It’s very amatuer. But thankfully, I’m starting to have and make more time to record my usual daily antics and whatnot. That, and whatever other fun things I come across in my life. It’s a fun way for me to spend my time off and a good stress reliever. But it’s always difficult starting out because you haven’t got many subscribers but I hope to become more popular and make more interesting stuff once the weather warms up!

Personally, I do enjoy watching Saabkyle04 and Engineering Explained!

Tell me about it. I see all the grudges that go on in the Gulf Coast AutoWerks Facebook page and while we were filming our latest video at TDC Performance in Mobile, AL, there were quite a few times that random people would just show up to the shop to discuss installing some go fast bits so they can settle a beef with someone on the street and come out on top. It’s definitely a world I’m not too familiar with and also quite interesting.

This just popped up on the TDC Performance page. Very interesting.

Been watching Carbon Video for a few years. Good stuff. 2,3, and 4th Gen f-bodies make a good showing, and who would have ever imagined Dodge Rams and Dakotas where so quick round the track.
